Our team is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the accounting department of a reputable manufacturing client located in Columbus, Texas. Key Responsibilities:

• Handle milestone billing for long-term projects, ensuring accurate partial billing as project phases are completed
• Utilize Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP in Excel to track billing activity, AR aging, and financial reports
• Submit invoices through various customer billing portals, monitor submission status, and follow up as needed
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, ensuring timely collections and compliance with client contracts
• Work closely with project managers and finance staff to ensure billing aligns with project progress and terms
• Maintain detailed records of AR transactions and support month-end closing activities

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of Accounts Receivable experience, preferably in manufacturing or project-based industries
• Demonstrated experience with milestone/project billing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP
• Experience working with billing portals (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, or similar systems)
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus

Details:

• Pay Rate: Up to $28/hour, depending on experience
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, standard business hours
• Type: Contract-to-Hire or Direct Hire, based on client need
• Work Environment: On-site at client location in Columbus, TX
